Nice mom and pop restaurant...really good food...the best peach cobbler west of the Mississippi!

Whated long period of time get everything including silerware after our meal come. Prime Rib was gray color and very dry upon service. Returned. Was offered something different. Said no thanks. Looked to be freezer burned and had funny taste to it. Other food was only so so for prices charged. Plus we were charged additional 8% AFTER tax for Covic - 19 food shortage. (We have plenty of meat of all kinds).Had salt and pepper on table. Should not have had. Put sugar packets right on table top. Will not be returning.

Mom and I were at Country House for breakfast. The food was as good as I remember from pre-pandemic days. There is a new 8 percent sur charge to help with current times. I understand that from my experiences in the grocery store lately, but this may bother some people. The service was still friendly and efficient.

A Gloomy Morning Experience at Country House Restaurant:Upon arrival, the waitress told me “Seat yourself. Anywhere is fine.” Sitting at a booth, a few minutes later the same waitress told me the booth was reserved! As there was no Reserved sign - and she was being coarse and impatient - it was decided to just leave peacefully.Later, the owner, April Kay was called. She was defensive and resistant to the complaint. A complimentary breakfast for which a generous tip would be left was my suggestion for a resolution. She wanted to call her staff first and said she would call back.She never did. This was a multi-level poor guest experience! Thus, the Country House Restaurant can not be recommended.

Family of four ate here for the first time this evening. If you are looking for some down home cooking this is definitely a place to visit. All of us were happy with our meals. Flavor was good, service was good, portion sizes were huge and our area was clean. For a family of four the price was good as well.

Good food, just need more service personnel. The one waitress was working her tail off to wait on all the tables.

Breakfast today was not good. Toast was burned! Hash browns greasy, country fried steak smaller than usual and gravy skimpy

got to this place and left rite away. 8% increase on ur bill just for eating here. they had some B.S. excuse for raising prices when they are already abit pricey

When I came here today I kinda thought that there would have been more people there because of the amount of vehicles outside. There wasn't many people in there eating. The food was excellent. I had the bacon mushroom cheeseburger. The bacon was the perfect crunch for me the only down side was for me was that since there was not many other people, my table and one other, I wished that the waiters came a little bit more to fill up glasses.

Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly staff, accepts credit cards. The food tasted as though it was bought in bulk at a restaurant supply store and then reheated. I had a country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. EVERYTHING tasted processed. Instant/heat and eat. I'm sure it's acceptable to some but not if I have to pay for it.
